This model isn't as feature-rich as some of the more expensive models we've tested however, it does have all the basics. It has a huge enough dust bin to hold plenty of dirt before it needs emptying and its mop and vacuum system is great for carpets with low pile and hard floors. It is also very quiet. We could watch the TV while it was cleaning without feeling like we were constantly bombarded by the sound.
Our test subjects were impressed with how easy it was to install and use, and they were amazed by its ability to clean all the mess out of their flooring. It even did a pretty excellent job of removing pet hair and other messes that get on carpeting, though it was less successful in removing stubborn stains. The app was simple to use and easy to understand. They could schedule the vacuum to clean regularly to reduce the amount of manual work. It doesn't have object avoidance or mapping technology, so it can't be able to be directed to specific rooms or follow virtual borders (though magnetic boundaries are compatible).

It beat out all other robotic vacuums we tested in terms of mapping and avoiding obstacles, and is the ideal budget pick for those who want a smarter self-emptying robot vacuum that can take care of pet hair and messes both on carpeting and hardwood floors. It is also very quiet and has a large dust bin that can hold a lot of dust before it's time to empty it.
The V3S Pro did not make it onto any of our top picks lists from trusted sources who test hands-on, but it received high marks from Modern Castle, Smart Robot Reviews and The Ambient. They liked the ease with which it was install and use, however they noted that the battery life was short and it didn't manage to stay clear of some of the toughest problems we've encountered.
